The Foundation convened the first Translational Regenerative Medicine Forum in April 2010

The Forum gathered over 400 members of the regenerative medicine community and initiated collaborations with the stakeholders
– Academic institutions
– International partners
– The government - military, FDA, NIH
– Venture Capital groups
– The companies - pharmaceutical, biotech, start-ups in regenerative medicine
– Advocacy groups

April 6–8 marked the first inaugural 2010 Translational Regenerative Medicine Forum for the Regenerative Medicine Foundation. With an impressive breadth of speakers, attendees were able to hear from 10 different panels, which discussed various topics relevant to the field of regenerative medicine, ranging from best practices to what is up next for the science. Keynote speakers Juan Enriquez, MBA; Robert N. Klein; Robert Lanza, MD; and Lieutenant General Eric B. Schoomaker, MD, PhD; shared their insights to the field of regenerative medicine. Additionally, the Forum presented 9 Scientific Discovery presentations and 2 Venture Forum Sessions.
