On July 1, 2009, the Foundation became a founding member of the Alliance for Regenerative Medicine, a Washington, DC-based public policy and patient advocacy group. The mission of the Alliance is to advance regenerative medicine by representing and supporting the community of companies, academic research institutions, patient advocacy groups, foundations, and other organizations before the Congress, federal agencies, and the general public.
